The Uncommon Denomination aka The Unreligion. . .

Maybe U*Us should consider marketing U*Uism as the 'Unreligion'®. After all it worked quite nicely for 7*UP in the late 1960's and 70's when it chose to go head-to-head with Coca-Cola, aka 'The Real Thing'. I think that it just might be a spectacular marketing coup for the U*U "church" to market itself as 'The Unreligion'®, especially since U*Uism is apparently having an increasingly difficult time pretending to be 'the Real Thing' when it comes to being a religion these days. . .

I wonder if U*U marketing geniuses like UUA President William Sinkford and UUA Congregational Services Director Rev. Tracey Robinson-Harris would ever go for it? After all it does seem to me that the UUA's 'Uncommon Denomination' marketing slogan may well have been inspired by my UNSAFE SECT? picket sign slogan. ;-)

Why not go all the way President Sinkford, and market U*Uism to the non-U*U World as 'The Unreligion'®? Heck! It would even seem to be a quite logical evolution from your 'Uncommon Denomination' marketing campaign. N'est-ce pas?

Indeed I do believe that the unreligion thing IS quite appropriate...

Thanks for agreeing with me Tracie. Hopefully it wasn't just because you were afraid to disagree with me.
