Yet Another Disillusioned Unitarian*Universalist

It would appear that self-described U*U Geek, Donald Wilson, has come to a sad realisation -

"It's a sad, sad day when you realise that you've been screwed over by the dishonest and short-sighted people of the world more times while doing the work of your faith than anytime else."

I think that it is reasonable to presume that many, if not most. . . of the "dishonest and short-sighted people" that Donald Wilson is complaining of having been "screwed over by" in this blog post are people of the U*U World, aka Unitarian*Universalists, aka U*Us. I would certainly be quite interested in hearing more about how "dishonest and short-sighted" U*Us "screwed over" Donald Wilson. For now I will just call Donald Wilson's attention to a rather pithy saying of Rev. William Sloane Coffin that is sometimes most ironically displayed on the "Wayside Pulpits" of various Unitarian*Universalist "churches" -

"So you're disillusioned.

Big deal.

All that means is that you were illusioned in the first place."

Very apropos I think. . .
