How Jim Adkisson's Hate Crime Manifesto Reveals The Hypocrisy Of Montreal Unitarian*Universalists, The UUA, And Ministerial *Fellowship* Committee

The very first thing that the quite evidently racist, "homophobic", anti-liberal bigot Jim David Adkisson aka Jim Adkisson has to say about the Unitarian*Universalist Church in his "suicide note" cum "manifesto" is -

"Don't let the word church mislead you. This isn't a church, it's a cult."

For the time being I will deal exclusively how this one element of Jim Adkisson's hate speech that he used to justify his self-confessed hate crime exposes outrageous hypocrisy on the part of the Unitarian Church Of Montreal, the UUA, it's very aptly named Ministerial Fellowship Committee, and any and all other Unitarian*Universalists who have condoned the false and malicious labeling of my own religious activities as a "cult" of the "manipulative and secretive" "Solar Temple" variety by the former fundamentalist atheist minister of the Unitarian Church of Montreal Rev. Ray Drennan, former UCM Presidents Frank Greene and John Inder, other leading lay members of the self-described Unitarian Church of Montreal, and other individual U*Us "out there" in the U*U World. Immediately following his hate filled "rant" against the Unitarian*Universalist Church Jim Adkisson says -

Know This If Nothing Else

1. - This Was A Hate Crime:

I hate the damn left-wing Liberals.
There is a vast left-wing conspiracy in this country & these liberals are working together to attack every decent & honorable institution in the Nation, trying to turn this country into a communist state. Shame on them.

end quote

U*U blogger Sara Robinson describes Jim Adkisson's hate filled "manifesto" with the following words on the "Know This If Nothing Else: This Was A Hate Crime" post of the Orcinus blog.

"In it, he unleashes the full measure of his hatred for liberals -- and encourages other would-be right-wing warriors to take up arms and follow him into battle."

The prospective U*U minister Rev. Patrick McLaughlin, U*U blogger "Ogre", says the following on the Hate Crime: When it's not even a question... post of his 'Sparks In The Dark ' blog -

"Well, Adkisson's letter makes it clear. He wrote one page under the header "Know This If Nothing Else," and his first statement is that this was a hate crime. He acted out of hate, and reading the letter it's clear where the ideas and wording of that hate came from--straight off of right wing talk radio. So let's call that what it is--hate radio, just like Radio Rwanda was; urging hatred of liberals. Too strong, you think? Nah."

end quote

As previously noted
, UU World magazine editor Christopher Walton describes Jim Adkisson's hate-filled manifesto with these words on the 'Knoxville gunman: "I hope others do the same."' post of his Philocrites blog -

"It's a thoroughly depressing read: a desperate man's pastiche of paranoid right-wing talking points about the evils of liberalism."

end quote

I could engage in a free and responsible search for similar descriptions of Jim Adkisson's hate-filled anti-liberal and anti-U*U "manifesto", and I am very confident that I would find them, but these quotes will suffice for my purposes here which are simply to ask U*Us to explain to me and others reading this blog how Jim David Adkisson's hate-filled labeling of "The Unitarian Universalist Church" as a "cult" in the "manifesto" seeking to justify his self-described hate crime substantially differs from the false and malicious, and indeed quite hateful. . . labeling of Creation Day and/or my other religious activities as a "cult" by the aforementioned "Humanist" Unitarian*Universalists?

Prey tell Unitarian*Universalists. . .

How does Rev. Ray Drennan's hate-filled labeling of Creation Day as "your cult" as in "a manipulative and secretive religious group" qualitatively differ from Jim Adkisson's hate-filled assertion that Unitarian*Universalism isn't a church but is a cult? How is Jim Adkisson's quite evidently hate-filled labeling of Unitarian*Universalism as a "cult" part and parcel of his self-confessed "hate crime" whereas, according to the UUA's very aptly named Ministerial *Fellowship* Committee, Rev. Ray Drennan's virtually identical, albeit evidently less justified. . . labeling of the inter-religious celebration Creation Day as a cult is "within the appropriate guidelines of ministerial leadership"? How is the hate-filled labeling of Creation Day and/or my other religious activities as a "cult" by two intolerant if not outright bigoted "Humanist" Presidents of the Unitarian Church of Montreal, Frank Greene and John Inder, other leading lay members of the UCM, and some other anti-religious U*Us, any less "hate speech" than Jim David Adkisson's self-confessed hate-speech?

If U*Us are unable to come up with any satisfactory answers to these questions may I prevail upon U*Us to demand that both the UUA and the Unitarian Church of Montreal must reopen and reexamine my original clergy misconduct complaint against Rev. Ray Drennan that arose from his intolerant and abusive anti-religious "hate speech" and responsibly acknowledge that falsely and maliciously labeling a congregant's, or anyone else's. . . religious activities as a "cult" is most certainly not "within the appropriate guidelines of ministerial leadership"? May I prevail upon U*Us to stand on the side of justice, equity and compassion in human relations, to say nothing of love, and demand that both the Unitarian Church of Montreal and Unitarian*Universalist Associations of Congregations aka the UUA must formally apologize to me for condoning, if not effectively endorsing and "sponsoring", Rev. Ray Drennan's "hate speech" for the better part, or indeed worse part. . . of thirteen unlucky years now?
