International Blasphemy Rights Day And Unitarian Universalist History - What's The Connection?

Can U*Us say Stikeman Elliott Barristers & Solicitors attorney Maitre Marc-André Coulombe?

How about UUA Executive Vice President Kathleen "'Kay" Montgomery who, according to her official UUA job description and Andover-Harvard Theological Library bio, "coordinates the work of the UUA legal counsel" and thus, according to good old Unitarian *Reason*. . . would have "coordinated" the rather questionable work of the UUA's Canadian legal counsel Maitre Marc-André Coulombe.

Most ironically, a free and responsible Google search for -

Blasphemy Day and Unitarian

resulted in finding a three year old blog post on Atheist Unitarian Universalist Steve Caldwell's 'Liberal Faith Development'  blog entitled -

'Unitarian Universalist History and Blasphemy Day'

that I had commented on on October 2nd 2009, in the wake of the very first observance of International Blasphemy Rights Day aka Blasphemy Day on September 30th, 2009.

Without further ado here is the follow-up comment that I just posted in response to that blog post -

I thought it would be fun to point out yet another Unitarian Universalist historical connection with this celebration of blasphemy. . .

The most recent person to be accused of the crime of blasphemous libel in Soviet Canuckistan aka Canada is none other than your's Truly. . . and it is the Unitarian Universalist Association of Congregations that is the outrageously hypocritical religious institution responsible for making that spurious accusation. . .

Yes, Steve, on International Blasphemy Day 2012 I am basking in the glory of having been (falsely) accused of the criminal act of blasphemous libel by Unitarian Universalist hypocrites at 25 Beacon Street in Bean Town for allegedly making "unfounded and vicious allegations to the effect that ministers of the Association engage in such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape."

Who would have thought that Unitarian Universalists aka U*Us would ever have the unmitigated gall aka utterly shameful Big Fat U*U Hubris to accuse *anyone* of the crime of blasphemous libel, especially on such highly questionable if not outright spurious grounds?

The hubris, the hubris. . .

I posted pretty much the same comment in response to ChaliceChick's old blog post titled -

I've only known about "Blasphemy Day" for three days and I hated the idea the whole time

which shows up as the second result of the aforementioned Google search.

Interestingly enough the third result for that Goole search is none other than my U*UTube video titled -

A Canada Day Trudeau Salute For Unitarian Universalist Hypocrites

which, AFA*I*AC. . . can now do double duty as A Blasphemy Day 2012 Trudeau Salute For Unitarian Universalist Hypocrites
