Sexually Abusive Ontario Doctors And "Less Than Perfect" Unitarian Universalist Ministers Guilty Of Clergy Sexual Misconduct - What's The Connection?

The title of this brand spanking new CBC News article provides a Big Fat U*U Clue. . .

Ontario doctors disciplined for sex abuse, but keep working

Quote - "Ontario doctors who have been disciplined for matters related to sexual abuse are often able to continue to practise medicine."

Just as "less than perfect" Unitarian Universalist ministers aka "religious professionals" who have been disciplined* for matters related to sexual abuse aka clergy sexual misconduct are often able to continue to practice their profession. . .

I *could* say quite a bit more about this issue, and quote from numerous other sections of this article to show how UUA and MFC clergy misconduct policies and procedures are still in need of a "major overhaul" six years after a "major overhaul" was recommended, but I have other things to do right now.

I strongly recommend that anyone who is concerned by clergy sexual misconduct, Unitarian Universalist or otherwise, read this article and dare to compare how the clergy sexual misconduct policies and procedures of your religious community measure up to those of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.

* To say nothing of those Unitarian Universalist ministers who have never been properly disciplined for matters related to various forms of clergy sexual misconduct thanks to UUA negligence and-or incompetence.
