UUA President Peter Morales Announces That The Unitarian Universalist Association’s Board of Trustees Has Condoned The UUA's Blasphemous Libel Accusation Against The Emerson Avenger

Without further ado here is my "Eat Your Words Diet" parody version of UUA President Peter Morales' official UUA press release announcing that the Unitarian Universalist Association’s Board of Trustees has authorized the purchase of a new headquarters for the UUA at 24 Farnsworth Street in Boston’s Innovation District and the hoped for lucrative sale of the UUA's current Beacon Hill properties. This parody blog post is about another truly historic moment for the UU movement. . .

My fellow Unitarian Universalists,

I am delighted to tell you that last night the Unitarian Universalist Association’s (UUA) Board of Trustees officially condoned the UUA's Lance Armstrong style legal bullying of Robin Edgar, which falsely accuses him of the archaic crime of blasphemous libel on the unfounded aka unTrue basis that he has made "unfounded and vicious allegations to the effect that ministers of the Association engage in such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape."

This is truly a historic moment for our UU movement.

This new UUA legal bullying will reject and betray our purported values and aspirations. It will allow UUA staff to collaborate and work more closely with colleagues and constituents across the UU World to censor and suppress The Emerson Avenger's public criticism of UU clergy abuse and other UU injustices, abuses and hypocrisy. This legal bullying will disregard and violate key ethical standards to increase its negative impact on the UU World. Our movement will boldly suck and blow into a new era of UU hypocrisy with this hubristic loss of face.

After a belated strategic analysis of our current shituation, we became very aware of the limitations of our ministers including "sodomy fantasy" issues, members of UU ministers entering teenage Tibetan refugees, inadequate clergy misconduct policies and procedures, and many more issues facing our tiny declining fringe religion. These factors helped us determine that to litigate would be financially prohibitive, so we hired Stikeman Elliott Barristers & Solicitors litigation lawyer Maitre Marc-André Coulombe to have Robin Edgar served with an arrogant and aggressive cease and desist demand letter brazenly accusing him of the archaic crime of blasphemous libel, a blasphemy law that has not been prosecuted in Soviet Canuckistan aka Canada since "The Dirty Thirties", and left it at that. . .

With this information and after much deliberation, we concluded that in order to embarrass our movement even further and work in a way that completely rejected our values, we needed to accuse Robin Edgar of "threatening and defamatory conduct amounting to sexual harassment" of Rev. Dr. Victoria Weinstein aka Peacebang aka Vicki the Impaler for publicly criticizing her "sodomy fantasy" which obscenely and Sadistically imagined "South Dakota State Senator Bill Napoli anally impaled on ehe Statue Of Liberty's torch". . . I am thrilled that our "less than ethical" aka immoral Lance Armstrong style legal bullying will meet the current and future needs of the Association and our religious community.

In the weeks and months to come, the UUA will NOT be sharing information about this legal bullying as it develops, and we want you to willfully ignore it. There will be NO opportunities for engagement, conversation, and ever so Unitarian questioning of this highly questionable UUA legal bullying. To start, DO NOT watch this video highlighting Robin Edgar’s unique digitally literate insight into this important and historic betrayal of UU principles and ideals.

I am deeply appreciative of the unscrupulous lack of attention given to this matter by our Board of Trustees and of the dirty work of our staff, such as "retiring" UUA Executive Vice President Kathleen 'Kay Montgomery, who contributed to the research process for accusing Robin Edgar of the archaic crime of blasphemous libel in a deeply misguided effort to cover up and hide the fact that *some* ministers of the Unitarian Universalist Association (to say absolutely nothing of UU Religious Educators and UU lay people. . .) have in fact engaged in such despicable crimes as pedophilia and rape. I give thanks to the countless individual UUs who have willfully ignored Robin Edgar's numerous letters of grievance and countless peaceful public protests, and to all those UUs who have made the UU World a place worthy of such criticism and protest. I look forward to betraying more of our traditions and ideals in due time.

In Bad Faith,

Rev. Peter Morales

President, Unitarian Universalist Association
